filefriend is a document vault and e-signature service. To provide it, we store the documents you create or upload, the signatures and consent records you generate, and a tamper-evident audit trail (who signed, when, and from what context). This is the core of the service — a trustworthy record of your agreements.
We use your documents and signing data only to provide filefriend to you: storing, displaying, signing, and producing verifiable records and downloadable certificates. We do not sell your documents or signing data, and we do not use them for advertising.
Signed documents and their audit trails are retained to support their legal usefulness and recordkeeping (e.g. up to 7 years), consistent with common business/tax retention practice. You can request export or deletion subject to legal retention obligations.
Documents are access-controlled and signing events are recorded in a tamper-evident chain so the record can be verified. Treat your account credentials as the keys to your vault.
filefriend is for adults handling agreements; it is not directed to children under 13.
